Elegant Chocolate Symphony Cake 💕😋
Ingredients :
- 1 3/4 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1 3/4 cups of granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons of baking soda
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup of whole milk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
- 1 cup of boiling water
- 1 cup of chocolate ganache (for icing)
- Chocolate chips (for decoration)
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease & flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Beat eggs, milk, oil and vanilla on medium speed for 2 minutes until smooth.
Stir gradually in boiling water (careful, the dough will be thin! ).
Pour the lovely mixture evenly in your prepared pans.
Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpaste comes out clean when inserted in the center.
Let cakes cool in pans for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire holder to cool
Once cooled, spread this chocolate ganache between the layers and the top for a decadent finish.
Finally, pipe whipped cream on top and decorate with cherries and sprinkle some chocolate chips for that classic twist before serving.
