Vanilla Cupcakes
Ingredients

For the Vanilla Cupcakes:
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 ½ tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- ½ cup (115g) unsalted butter, softened
- ¾ cup (150g) granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup (120ml) milk

For the Vanilla Buttercream Frosting:
- 1 cup (230g) unsalted butter, softened
- 3 cups (360g) powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp milk or heavy cream

For Garnish:
- Colorful sprinkles
Instructions
1. Make the Vanilla Cupcakes
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
In another bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract.
Alternately add dry ingredients and milk, mixing until just combined.
Divide batter into cupcake liners, filling about ¾ full.
Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let cool completely.
2. Make the Vanilla Buttercream Frosting
Beat butter until creamy.
Gradually add powdered sugar, mixing until smooth.
Pour in vanilla extract and milk/heavy cream, beating until fluffy.
3. Decorate the Cupcakes
Pipe vanilla frosting onto cooled cupcakes.
Sprinkle with colorful sprinkles for a fun finish!
