Giant Cheeseburger with Bacon and Fries

Ingredients

  • For the Burger Patties:

  • 2 lbs ground beef (80/20 blend) 🥩
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder 🧄
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste 🧂

  • For the Burger Build:

  • 1 giant brioche bun (or 2 large regular buns) 🍞
  • 6 slices of cheddar cheese 🧀
  • 6 slices of crispy bacon 🥓
  • Lettuce, tomato slices, pickles, and red onion rings 🥬🍅🧅
  • Ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise (optional)

  • For the Fries:

  • 4 large russet potatoes, sliced into fries 🥔
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: Garlic powder, paprika, or parmesan for seasoning

Instructions

1. Prepare the Patties:

In a large bowl, mix the ground beef with Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
Divide into 4 giant patties (or 6 regular-sized patties) and form into rounds, pressing a slight dimple in the center to prevent puffing during cooking.
2. Cook the Bacon:

Heat a skillet over medium heat. Cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside on a paper towel-lined plate.
3. Cook the Patties:

Heat a grill or skillet to medium-high heat. Cook the patties for 5–6 minutes per side for a medium doneness, adding cheese during the last minute to melt.
4. Toast the Bun:

Lightly toast the brioche bun on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.
5. Prepare the Fries:

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) or heat your air fryer. Toss the sliced potatoes with oil, salt, and pepper. Spread evenly on a baking sheet or in the air fryer basket.
Cook for 20–25 minutes (oven) or 15–18 minutes (air fryer), flipping halfway. Add any additional seasonings after cooking.
6. Assemble the Burger:

Spread condiments on the bottom bun. Add lettuce, tomato, pickles, and onion slices. Layer 2 patties on top, followed by crispy bacon. Crown with the top bun.
Tips for Success:
Use fresh, high-quality beef for the best flavor.
Keep toppings balanced to avoid overwhelming the burger's flavor.
Serve immediately with hot fries for the ultimate experience.
Grab a napkin and dig into this giant, delicious burger with crispy fries on the side! 🍔🍟
