RICH CHOCOLATE CAKE
INGREDIENTS
• 2 cups all-purpose flour• 1 Tsp baking powder
• 2 large eggs
• 1 cup milk
• 1/2 cup oil
• 2 cups granulated sugar
• 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powde
• 2 Tsp baking soda
• A pinch of salt
• 2 Tsp vanilla extract
• 1 cup boiling water
DIRECTIONS :
● Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.● In a large bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
● Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes.
● Stir in boiling water until the batter is well combined. The batter will be thin, but that's normal.
● Pour the batter evenly into the prepared cake pans.
● Bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
● Remove from the oven and let the cakes cool in the pans for 10 minutes. Then, transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
● Finish it off with a dusting of powdered sugar or a smooth layer of chocolate ganache.
