Chocolate Cake Recipe🎂🧁
Ingredients:
- Flour: 200 grams
- Sugar: 200 grams
- Cocoa powder: 50 grams
- Baking powder: 10 grams
- Baking soda: 5 grams
- Salt: 5 grams
- Eggs: 2 large (approximately 100 grams)
- Milk: 240 grams
- Vegetable oil: 120 grams
- Vanilla extract: 5 grams
- Boiling water: 240 grams
- Chocolate Frosting:
- Butter: 115 grams
- Cocoa powder: 50 grams
- Powdered sugar: 400 grams
- Milk: 60 grams
- Vanilla extract: 5 grams
- Toppings:
- Gumdrops: 100 grams
- Chopped nuts: 100 grams
- Chocolate chips (white and dark): 100 grams each
- Red cherries: 50 grams
- Candy-coated chocolates: 100 grams
Instructions:
1.Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease and flour two 9-inch round baking pans.
2.Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt
3.Add Wet Ingredients: Add the eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla extract. Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes.
4.Stir in Water: Stir in the boiling water (the batter will be thin).
5.Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared pans and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
6.Cool: Cool the cakes in the pans for 10 minutes, then remove from pans and cool completely on wire racks.
For the frosting:
1.Cream Butter and Cocoa: Beat the butter and cocoa powder together until smooth.
2.Add Sugar and Milk: Gradually add the powdered sugar and milk, beating to spreading consistency.
3.Add Vanilla: Stir in the vanilla extract.
Assembly:
1.Frost the cooled cakes with the chocolate frosting.
2.Decorate: Divide the various toppings into sections as shown in the image and decorate the top of the cake.
