Chocolate Tres Leches Cake

Ingredients

  • 6 eggs
  • 1 12 cups whole milk
  • 23 cups whipping cream
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 12 cups pancake flour
  • 12 cups cocoa powder
  • 1 12 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla liquid
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup condensed milk
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 2 cups dark chocolate, finely chopped
  • 1 cup whipping cream, warm
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • enough walnuts, finely chopped, for garnish
  • enough strawberry, quartered, for garnish

Preparation

1. Blend the egg pieces with the milk, oil, sugar, pancake flour, cocoa, baking powder and vanilla for 5 minutes or until smooth.
2. In a Jade Smart by Jade Cook® saucepan, pour the cake mixture until it fills half of the pan and cook over very low heat for 45 minutes with the lid on. Remove the Jade Smart by Jade Cook® saucepan from the pan and place on a rack to cool.
3. In a bowl, mix the whole milk with the condensed milk and evaporated milk. Set aside.
4. For the frosting, mix the chocolate with the hot whipping cream in a bowl. Mix until the chocolate dissolves and then add the butter, which will help give it more shine. Set aside.
5. Place your cake on a flat plate and slowly pour a ladleful of the three-milk mixture over it. Refrigerate for 10 minutes.
6. Cover your cake with the chocolate frosting, smooth it out with a spatula and sprinkle with walnuts. Finally, decorate with strawberries.
