Homemade Bread
Ingredients🍞
- 500 g all-purpose flour
- 10 g salt
- 7 g dry yeast
- 300 ml warm water
- 30 g sugar
- 60 ml vegetable oil
Instructions🍞
1. Prepare the yeast: Mix sugar and warm water, add the yeast and let it rise 1. Let stand for 10 minutes until foamy.
2. Mix dry ingredients: In a large bowl, combine flour and salt.
3. Combine: Add yeast mixture and oil to dry ingredients, and mix to form a dough.
4. Knead: Knead on a floured surface for 8-10 minutes until smooth.
5. First rise: Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size (1-2 hours).
6. Shape the loaf: Punch down the dough to deflate, shape, and place in a greased loaf pan.
7. Second rise: Cover and let rise until doubled in size again (1 hour).
8. Bake: Preheat oven to 180°C and bake for 30-35 minutes until golden.
9. Cool and enjoy: Cool on a wire rack before slicing.
