Ingredients

  • For the Caramel Sauce:

  • 1 cup brown sugar 🍯
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream 🥛
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter 🧈
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 🌿
  • Pinch of salt 🧂

  • For Toppings:

  • Crushed graham crackers 🍪
  • Banana slices 🍌
  • Powdered sugar 🍬

Instructions

Preheat and Prepare:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Line a jelly roll pan with parchment paper.
Make the Sponge:

In a large bowl, beat the egg yolks with granulated sugar until the mixture is fluffy and pale.
Mix in the mashed bananas and vanilla extract.

Roll the cake back up without the towel, placing it seam side down on a serving platter.
For the caramel sauce, combine brown sugar, heavy cream, butter, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt in a saucepan over medium heat.
Stir until the mixture thickens and coats the back of a spoon.
Garnish and Enjoy:

Drizzle the caramel sauce over the rolled cake.
Sprinkle with crushed graham crackers and additional banana slices.
Dust with powdered sugar.
