Ganache:
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream 🥛
- 18 oz semisweet chocolate, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter 🧈
Directions:
1️⃣ Preheat Oven: To 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch cake pans and line with parchment paper.2️⃣ Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and espresso powder.
3️⃣ Add Wet Ingredients: Add buttermilk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla to the dry ingredients and mix on medium speed until well combined.
4️⃣ Add Boiling Water: Reduce speed and carefully add boiling water to the cake batter until well combined. The batter will be thin.
5️⃣ Bake: Distribute cake batter evenly between the two prepared cake pans. Bake for 30-35 minutes, until a toothpick or cake tester inserted in the center comes out clean.
