This No Bake Strawberry Heaven Cake is a delightful and refreshing dessert perfect for summer gatherings or anytime you want a sweet treat without turning on the oven. With layers of fresh strawberries, creamy Cool Whip, and a sweet, tangy sauce, this cake is sure to be a hit!
Ingredients:
- Fruits:
- 1 quart fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- Condiments:
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Culinary Aids and Spices:
- 1 (16-ounce) container Cool Whip
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions:
Prepare the Strawberry Sauce:
In a medium saucepan, combine 1 cup of sliced strawberries, 1 cup of sugar, and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice.
Cook over medium heat until the strawberries release their juices and the sugar dissolves, about 5 minutes.
In a small bowl, mix 3 tablespoons of cornstarch with 1/4 cup of water until smooth. Add this mixture to the saucepan.
Stir continuously until the sauce thickens, about 2-3 minutes.
Remove from heat and let it cool completely.
Prepare the Cake Base:
