Decadent Chocolate Mousse Cake with Velvety Pudding
Ingredients:
For the Cake:
• 3/4 cup all-purpose flour• 1/4 cup cocoa powder
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1/4 cup oil
• 1/2 cup milk
• 1 egg
• 1 tsp baking powder
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• Pinch of salt
For the Mousse:
• 200g dark chocolate• 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
• 2 tbsp sugar
• 1 tsp gelatin powder (dissolved in 3 tbsp water)
For the Chocolate Pudding:
• 2 cups milk• 1/3 cup sugar
• 2 tbsp cornstarch
• 2 tbsp cocoa powder
• 100g dark chocolate, chopped
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
Directions:
1. Cake: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Mix flour, cocoa powder, sugar, oil, milk, egg, baking powder, vanilla extract, and salt in a bowl. Pour into a greased 9-inch pan and bake for 20-25 minutes. Let cool.2. Mousse: Melt dark chocolate. Whip heavy cream with sugar until stiff peaks form. Fold in melted chocolate and dissolved gelatin. Spread over cooled cake. Refrigerate until set.
3. Pudding: Heat milk, sugar, cornstarch, and cocoa powder in a saucepan over medium heat until it thickens. Remove from heat; add chopped chocolate and vanilla. Stir until smooth. Let cool, then pour over mousse layer. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
