  • Hot Water: 160ml (⅔ cup)
  • For the Chocolate Custard:
  • 2 Egg Yolks
  • Sugar: 75g (¼ cup, 2 tablespoons)
  • Corn Flour: 30g (¼ cup)
  • Cocoa Powder: 2 tablespoons
  • Vanilla Extract: 1 teaspoon
  • Dark Chocolate: 50g
  • Milk: 300ml (1 ¼ cups)
  • Sugar Syrup:
  • Sugar: 50g (¼ cup)
  • Hot Water: 60ml (¼ cup)
  • Chocolate Drip:
  • Dark Chocolate: 100g
  • Butter: 2 tablespoons
  • Additional:
  • Strawberries: about 6-7
  • Equipment:
  • Measuring cup size: 240ml
  • Baking pan size: 13x19x6 cm
  • Oven preheated to 170°C (338°F)

Instructions:

Preparing the Cake Batter:
Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 170°C (338°F) 🔥.
Prepare the Pan: Grease and flour a 13x19x6 cm baking pan to prevent sticking 🍳.
Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, sift together 125g plain flour, 150g sugar, 35g cocoa powder, 1 teaspoon baking powder, ½ teaspoon baking soda, and ¼ teaspoon salt 🌾.
