Indulgent Kahlua Chocolate Cheesecake

Ingredients:

  • 24 Oreo cookies, crushed into fine crumbs
  • 5 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 32 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup Kahlua coffee liqueur
  • 8 ounces semisweet chocolate, melted and cooled
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract

Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
2. Mix together the crushed Oreo cookies and melted butter until they're nicely combined. Press this mixture onto the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan and pop it in the fridge to chill.
3. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until it's nice and smooth.
4. Add in the sour cream, Kahlua, and melted chocolate. Mix everything well.
5. One at a time, add the eggs into the mixture, mixing on low speed each time until they're just blended. Stir in the vanilla extract.
6. Pour this creamy mixture over the chilled crust.
7. Bake for about 55-60 minutes until the center is nearly set.
8. Once baked, run a knife around the edge of the pan to loosen the cake. Let it cool before removing the rim.
9. Refrigerate the cheesecake for at least 4 hours before serving. Enjoy the decadent delight of your Kahlua Chocolate Cheesecake!
