Pineapple bread rolls
Dough RECIPE:
- 1 cup warm milk
- ⅓ cup sugar
- ½ cup salted butter -melted
- 1 tbsp yeast
- 3 ½ cup flour
- 2 eggs
- Eggwash for brushing ( separate 1 egg yolk plus 1 tbsp water)
Filling: pineapple jam
Steps
In a bowl, add sugar, yeast, then pour warm milk. Mix and let it sit for 5 minutes till it bubbles. Add eggs, melted butter, then mix. Add flour gradually, mix. Let it rise for 1 hr or doubling its size. Divide dough into 20 parts. Flatten its dough at add 1 tbsp filling. Roll the dough like a Spanish bread, then slice in the top part to make it look nice and pretty. Let it rest and double it size. Brush with the egg mixture.Bake at 330F for 15-20 minutes till golden brown. Enjoy.
