Breakfast Buns.
These could go on the braai - and especially when you go camping or if there's a blackout!
Ingredients
- One bun per person (or more)
- Some butter (optional)
- Bacon, breakfast sausage or any meat of your choice.
- One egg per bun
- Cheese
- Some chopped parsley
Method
Slice buns in half
Scoop out some of the soft inside.
Spread the inside with butter and put your meat in the hollow, crack the egg onto the filling, sprinkle cheese over egg and sprinkle with parsley.
Now wrap the buns in foil as shown and place on medium coals.
Cook for about 10 to 15 minutes before turning to cook the other side.
Open carefully and enjoy!
