Bounty cake

Bounty cake

Ingredients :

  • 1/4 Ib butter
  • 1/2 cup castor sugar
  • 3 egg yolks (large)
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 teasp baking powder
  • 2 tablespoon nestle cocoa powder
  • 3/4cup milk

Coconut filling :

  • 3 egg whites beaten stiff
  • 1/2 cup icing sugat beat stiff
  • 1 1/4 cup coconut
  • Mix in lightly

Method for cake:

Beat butter well till pale
Add  castor sugar n beat well again
Add yolks 1 at a time and beat well
Add sifted flour, baking powder and cocoa (sift 3 times) together with milk
Pour 1/4 mixture in well sprayed pan
Layer coconut mixture gently and evenly over
Spread remaining cake mixture over coconut evenly
Bake on180 degrees +- 40 min till done
Pour melted cadburys choc mixed with nestle cream over
Sprinkle with flake if you like.
